There’s nothing better than a nice, empty skatepark. We all know the feeling. You never quite know what you’re going to get as you arrive, but in this case, the sound of crickets translates to a good time.

Clay Kreiner is not one to take it easy. He skates fast. He goes the extra mile. He does not hold back. While most would be pumping around, enjoying the openness and emptiness, Clay takes it upon himself to put on a one-man-demo and hits us with this banger.

He’s jetting around that corner like he’s in a race for his life as he sets up for the trick and puts a full on assault on that cement wave in the process. He couldn’t have done it any better. Charge…blast off…and into the sunset he goes.

It’s like a postcard from Maui. A handful of the comments mention he’s skating the Lahaina skatepark and all the locals seem pretty stoked to have Clay there rolling around. “Always fun to watch pros skate your local park and proceed to unlock all the hidden potential,” said one of them. “Love when this place is empty,” and “Lahaina hits,” are just a few others that tell me this place is rad, and the fact that it’s empty was pretty lucky.

Ah, the life of a pro skater. Sunset sessions at an empty gem of a park in Maui. Having fun with massive heelflip indy’s. Eat, rest, repeat. It’s all in a days work, I suppose. Hey—someones gotta do it! Clay rips and I can admire that he is naturally always putting on a show, whether that’s the plan or not. Some dudes are just on a different level.
