Legendary snowboarders, celebrated photographers, and plenty more celebrated their friend and icon Ken Block on April 3, (4/3 day) in honor of his racing number (43) that is synonymous with his legacy. Block tragically passed away earlier this year and the shockwave through action sports and beyond has led to the day of celebrating the luminary as well as the 43 Institute, a foundation with the mission is to continue the paths of opportunity Ken created in action sports, motorsports and creative arts. We collected a small sample of the posts shared earlier today and put them below:

More info on the 43 Institute:
In Memory of Ken Block: The 43 Institute exists to carry on Ken Block’s greatest legacy: creating paths of opportunity for the exceptionally driven who may lack the proper support system for growth and success.

From the opportunity of building a brand, taking off in action sports, or pursuing a driving career:

Ken always greatly supported those who gave 110% towards their passion.

The 43 Institute aims to open the door of opportunity to the network of creatives, business leaders, marketing experts, top level athletes, and artists that Ken has built in his decades-long career; providing grants and support to make dreams happen.”
