It is a long standing tradition that Salt Lake City’s Milosport Skate and Snowboard Shop holds their annual ‘Pro Sale’ at the end of each summer. Milosport is not only Salt Lake City’s leading snowboard shop, it is also one of, if not the most, core and prestigious shops in the entire country, and they get everyone from Utah and surrounding states psyched for the season each year with Pro Sale.

What is Pro Sale, you ask?

Pro snowboarders and industry people alike set up in Milosport’s parking lot the night before and very early in the morning with all of their gear from the previous season. The reason this sale is unlike any other is because a lot of these people have lightly used gear, and they are willing to sell it and barter at whatever price they choose. It gives the same feel as a NYC bodega – anything goes and haggling is accepted and encouraged. People line up around the block for Milo Pro Sale starting in the wee hours of the morning, and some people even camp out. Because they know they could end up getting a brand new snowboard for a ridiculously low price. Or a splitboard. Or boots, bindings, outerwear, beanies, gloves, clothing. Literally anything! For the most affordable price you will surely find all year!

The coolest thing, arguably, about this sale is that Milo really hooks up the community with this one by only asking that each pro gives ten percent of their sales back to the shop to cover costs of setting it all up. So people walk away making some serious cash, and others walk away with full new kits and set up for the entire season and probably many more seasons to come.

Pro Sale takes place this year on September 7th. Get the early, folks!
