Girl Skateboards recently released a special 50th Anniversary edition series of decks and apparel featuring legendary artist @Sanrio’s beloved character—Hello Kitty. As many of you know, this isn’t the first time Girl and Hello Kitty have joined forces, but this collection celebrates five decades of the iconic character in a special way. Take a look:
“This playful collection fuses Girl’s OG lockup with the iconic Hello Kitty, layering translucent colors over silver foil for a never-before-seen pop,” Girl mentions in the caption.
And if you look closely at the image, you can see what they’re talking about—that silver foil certainly pops! Say what you want, but I bet you’d be surprised how many people actually roll into skate shops asking for these Hello Kitty boards. In fact, most of the time they’re looking for the entire collection! Wall-hangers for days.

The collection features a variety of items, from pre-built completes, decks and apparel, to wheels, socks and of course stickers. If you’re a skateboarder who just so happens to be a Hello Kitty fan, this is really a no-brainer. And the same can be said for the collector’s of the world.

Judging by the comments on the post, people are pretty stoked. These are “limited” but just how limited, I do not know. Regardless, if you want one (or all of them), I’d make moves.
