Kim Kardashian has conquered reality TV, shapewear, beauty, business, and approximately 97 percent of the internet. Now she’s apparently coming for surfing.
In a recent Instagram post, Kardashian can be seen taking on the manmade waves at the Palm Springs Surf Club, paddling into a wave on a board so generously proportioned it looks like it could double as a dining-room table.

But it works.
Kardashian gets to her feet, sticks the drop and starts tracking across the wave with the cautious determination of someone who has been told repeatedly not to nosedive. Then, at perhaps the most strategically edited moment imaginable, the clip ends.
Did she keep riding? Gracefully kick out? Get swallowed by the whitewater two seconds later?
The tape is inconclusive.
To be fair, Kardashian has some history on a board. She has posted wakesurfing sessions for years, including a 2024 lesson with world champion skimboarder and wakesurfer Austin Keen. When GQ brought up one of her wakesurfing clips, Kardashian pushed back on the idea that her athletic side should surprise anybody.

“I’m an athlete,” she said. “Like I actually am such a good athlete.”
“I’m just like adventurous and I like to do sports,” she added. “I don’t know why it’s so shocking to people.”
Back in 2020, she shared another family wakesurfing session with the caption: “Nothing like Lake Life and cheering each other on wake surfing.”
Her latest attempt came at Palm Springs Surf Club, which uses SurfLoch wave technology and offers everything from easier waves to slabs, air sections, and tubes.
Kardashian’s selection was decidedly on the friendlier end of that menu.
Still, she stood up. She made the drop. And for several glorious seconds, Kim Kardashian was, technically, surfing.
Until additional footage surfaces, we’ll assume the ride ended perfectly.
And then she got absolutely slotted on the slab setting. Stay tuned for that.
