It is May 7th, 2024. Yes, you read that right – May 7th, which generally means that most resorts have closed up shop for the season. Definitely in the Midwest and on the East Coast. But for the lucky resorts who have stayed open…

But for the lucky resorts who have remained open in certain major snowboard heavy areas, significant snow storms have arrived. In Oregon, California, and Utah, the snow is not ready to say goodbye just yet. It has sprinkled some spring powder days on the remaining open resorts, including Mammoth, Brighton, and Mount Hood.

But the final dumping of snow really put the icing on the cake. All of the resorts that had to close must be jealous, but shout out to our west coast shredders. The never ending winter!
