The second FIS Big Air snowboarding contest is set to go down in China this weekend.
The season kicked off last weekend, and China’s hometown kid Su Yiming took home the top spot for the men. It was his first FIS win since 2022.
On the women’s side, Fukada Mari took home the win in her third run of the day, after she bailed on her second.
Snowboarder has teamed up with FLYP Fantasy to bring readers a fantasy league just for them. FLYP Fantasy Manager is the first multi-discipline fantasy platform for skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, wakeboarding, and mountain biking.
Each week, players are allotted a budget of 350 points that they use to add players to their lineup. Those projected to score well, like Taiga Hasegawa or Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, will cost more from your budget. Newcomers and athletes competing in events that aren’t their strong suit, like Chunyu Ge or Nicolas Huber, will cost less from your budget.

However, it doesn’t look likely that Gasser will compete this weekend. She’s recovering from a freak surfing injury that occurred over the summer. Gasser elected for immediate surgery, and said in a statemen that she would compete in “selected World Cup competitions” in preparation for the Olympic Games.
