Breckenridge Ski Resort will host the inaugural Rockstar Energy Open from December 19-21, 2025.
The three-day event is open to the public, and will not only feature some of the top snowboarders in the game, but feature live music, art installations, and an interactive fan village.
The festivities kick off today with a rail jam. You can watch it via livestream on ThePlatform.com or here at snowboarder.com at 3:30 p.m. local time. The rail jam will go down at the same time as the Torren Foot performance taking place at the base of Peak 8.
Judges will place riders based on overall impression with a focus on trick execution, difficulty, variety, and creativity. The Rail Jam will consist of a Semifinal and Final round, starting with 10 men and 10 women taking to the course together for an organized 20-minute session, dropping one at a time. The top five (5) men and top five (5) women will advance to the final for an organized 15-minute session, again dropping one at a time.
