The SNOWBOARDER x Big SNOW Block Party presented by 5 Hour Energy is celebrating the end of summer on Thursday, September 12th from 3-8pm at Big Snow in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

To close out summer in anticipation of the upcoming winter, the Block Party is bringing together a collective of community powerhouse non-profit orgs, groups, and crews that spend their seasons making a difference in snowboarding for a day of boarding all together. It’s community ride day in a truly special way at the center of year-round snowboarding on the East Coast, Big SNOW.

The Block Party is free to attend, but you must have a valid Big SNOW slope access ticket or pass to participate. While the Block Party runs from 3-8pm, any amount of time you can come ride will be fun. Here is the schedule of the community ride day:

3pm – Block Party begins!

3pm – Snowboard demos at Nitro and Burton begin (Block Party Village)

3-4:45pm – music by Gurty Beats

4pm – First drawing of the raffle with prizes from Nitro, Burton, Oakley, Arc’Teryx, Mountain Creek, and more – a new raffle will happen every hour on the hour in the Block Party tent village

4:45-6:25 – music by DJ Lokash

6-7pm – Hoods to Woods Experience (meet at Hoods to Woods tent for on hill riding)

6:25-8pm – music by KLOW

7-8pm – Park Affair Mini Session (meet at the Burton tent)

7:30pm – All snowboard demos must be returned to Nitro and Burton (Block Party Village)

8pm – Block Party ends — Thanks for coming out!
