This Saturday, October 10th, from 7am–5pm, A Great Day in the Stoke (AGDITS), returns for its fifth annual surf event at Huntington Beach, California.

Created to inspire the entire community to feel welcome in the water, AGDITS invites all Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and allies to come together to share the joy of surfing and honor the hard work of the Black surfing community and organizations making a difference in the sport. 

The competition unites Mainland U.S. and Hawaii surfers, along with a strong international presence from Africa, Brazil, Canada, and beyond. If you are looking for talent, inspiration, and a well seasoned day at the beach, join the fun for this one-day-only event. 

Location: Huntington Beach Pier, South Side, between Lifeguard Towers 3-5

7:00am 5k Unity run/walk at lululemon
7:30am Surf competition begins
9am/1pm Surf lessons
10am,11am,12pm Yoga with lululemon 
11:30-1:30pm Double Dutch with Melanated Jump Squad
3:10pm Surf Contest ends
3:15pm Live Music by We the Commas
3:25 PM Awards Ceremony
