The current state of the Skatepark in St. Joseph, MO, is pretty rough… A round flat crusty pad with an array of ledges. But with a construction budget of $400,000, the city is about to see a major upgrade with a plan for a brand new skatepark.
The city has its budget secured for the new park and is currently moving forward with choosing a company to design and build the park, entering the starting phases of the bidding process.
There is no date listed yet for a projected project start and end time, but residents can assume it’s well on the way with the funding secured and the city council on board!
