Our friends over at Gear Junkie are pulling up old videos every third Thursday for Throwback Thursday. This one blew our minds. Here’s what they have to say about it:

“In this case, it’s a 9-year-old edit about making a snowboard underwater — yes, you read that correctly. In a stunt as endearing as it is ridiculous, a team from Signal Snowboards travels to New Zealand to bind together a snowboard using the natural pressure of deep water. Do they succeed? Kind of. Perhaps the “natural production” of snowboards needs some additional R&D, but the crew certainly has a good time. And where else will you see someone scuba diving with a snowboard?”

Take a look at this 11 and a half minute video to see something you have never seen before, and we can almost guarantee you will learn a little something on the way as well. Throwback Thursday!
