X Games and Olympic medallist and pro snowboarder Sebastian Toutant can do more than just throw down some incredible tricks on a snowboard. The man can dunk! Well, I suppose it is not technically dunking. But check out him making this basketball shot while also doing a snowboard trick at Mammoth Mountain Resort in Mammoth Lakes, California. Pretty impressive, if you ask us.

Born on November 9, 1992, Sébastien Toutant is a renowned Canadian snowboarder who clinched the Olympic gold medal in men’s big air snowboarding at the 2018 Winter Olympics. His success extends to the X Games, where he secured gold in slopestyle in both 2011 and 2013, adding to his impressive collection of two silver and one bronze medals in slopestyle and big air events. His journey in snowboarding began at the age of nine, sparked by a fortuitous incident where he broke his skis and borrowed his brother’s old snowboard.

Toutant’s talent became evident early in his career when he emerged victorious in his inaugural professional event at the age of 13. This achievement drew attention, leading to a film crew taking him to Mount Hood to capture him tackling the most challenging jumps he had encountered thus far. Despite missing the X Games debut in 2010 due to a broken ankle, Toutant rebounded the next season, securing a silver medal in Snowboard Big Air at the 2011 Winter X Games XV in Aspen, Colorado, trailing only Torstein Horgmo. Additionally, he claimed the gold in Snowboard Slopestyle during the same games, marking his maiden X Games gold.

Toutant’s triumph in slopestyle at the X Games solidified his status as the first male rookie since 2002 to achieve gold in the event. In the spring of 2011, he accomplished the remarkable feat of being the third person to successfully land a triple cork.
