Iconic New Zealand ski resorot, Treble Cone, is being forced to delay it’s opening from this weekend. Treble Cone is playing an involuntary waiting game with snow and temps right now. But, you can be sure the team up there is ready to welcome you as soon as those temps drop and that snow falls. Hopefully soon, we are hoping for the residents of New Zealand! Treble Cone’s base elevation is low, so it does need more snow to operate and open. There will be another update early next week. If you have got a pass booked for Treble Cone this weekend, reach out to their Guest Services, email info@cardrona-treblecone.com or drop into one of their town offices, and they will convert your pass to be used at Cardrona instead so you can still get above that inversion layer. So you can still shred! Check back in on their Instagram next week for another continual update.
