Palisades Tahoe stands out among the limited number of ski resorts still in operation in North America. It is set to conclude its skiing season on July 4th. The skiing opportunities at Palisades’ Alpine Meadows section are limited to weekends, but they will be reopening this upcoming Friday until Sunday. Following this period, the resort will temporarily close until June 30th. Then, an exciting weekend celebration will commence, showcasing the spirit of America.
On June 30th, a comparatively quieter day, parking at Alpine Meadows will be available free of charge. However, for the remainder of the extended weekend, it will be necessary to reserve parking spots in advance at Alpine Meadows.
Starting from July 1st, a modified parking arrangement will be implemented due to the expected high number of visitors. To park at Alpine Meadows between July 1st and 4th, a paid parking reservation of $10 will be required. The proceeds from these reservations will contribute to the Truckee North Tahoe Transportation Management Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding innovative solutions for transportation challenges in the North Lake Tahoe Truckee region.
